NDI Source Multi for macOS, and Ubuntu allows you to connect multiple channels of SDI and HDMI  through your BlackMagic Design video interface and convert them in real time to  NDI  IP Video Streams. A powerful Web Interface allows for channel renaming and monitoring.

Supports compatible BMD single or multi-channel devices which support auto format detection, including Decklink Duo2 (4 SDI 3G HD Channels),  Quad 2 (8 SDI 3G HD channels), Quad HDMI (4 HDMI 2.0b UHD Channels), DeckLink 8KPro (4 x SDI 12GB UHD Channels) and most others including multi card setups (eg 16-32 channels with Maxi). Also works with multiple UltraStudio Mini-Recorders. Converts SDI timecode to NDI timecode. Source Multi supports up to 8 Channels and up to UHD video, Source Maxi up to 32 channels and up to 8K video - NB: Practical channel count depends on CPU, PCI, memory bandwidth and other considerations.

NDI Source Maxi (*ubuntu only) also captures CEA-708 Caption data into NDI:CC708 metadata format, and converts NDI PTZ Control into Serial Visca, Visca over IP or Panasonic IP protocols to connected cameras. Source Maxi also supports up to 8K (4320p) resolution.  Maxi also converts NDI:VISCA protocol commands into Serial or IP Visca.

NB: Performance depends on sufficient Thunderbolt or PCIe, Network, CPU and memory bandwidth being available as well as number of HD or UHD sources being processed.

Note that RGB Sources are not supported.
