NBC Universal for "News Signal" live studio, leverages virtualisation

NBC has been one of the major global broadcasters to jump into using NDI with both feet. For their new digital show News Signal, NBC created a brand new, completely NDI based live news studio.

However, this studio is not just completely NDI based, but also partially virtualised, with key components including the NewTek VMC1 NDI Vision Mixer, the Sienna NDI Router and NDI graphics and automation components from vizRT all hosted in sclable and dynamic virtual machines, rather than dedicated hardware boxes.

The show features great production values and demonstrates how an end to end NDI Production can deliver world class television.
